Varinder ‘Vic’ Purewal

Vic obtained his Bachelor of Arts at York University. He went on to complete his J.D. at Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan. While at Tomas M. Cooley Law School, he attended the University of Paris and completed a semester abroad. Vic was called to the Ontario Bar in 2012.

Prior to founding Purewal Law, Vic worked for a boutique law firm in Toronto where he worked in several fields including personal injury, accident benefits, wills and estates, contract litigation and employment law. Vic gained invaluable experience and had a hands on approach with each of the files. Purewal Law was founded in 2019.

Vic has acted as lead counsel at trials at both the Superior Court and Smalls Claims Court of Ontario. He has also appeared in the Divisional Court and Court of Appeal for Ontario. Vic has represented clients at administrative boards and tribunals, including the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, the License Appeal Tribunal and the CPP Review Tribunal.
